With my creative process, you can have a beautifully designed website that not only showcases your information but creates a memorable experience for your customers.

STRATEGY
First I start by getting to know you, your business and the story you want to tell. I'll ask you a series of questions about your goals as a business and get to know who your ideal client is. We take a deep dive into the online experience you want to create for your customers.

DESIGN
Once we've established a clear vision and a strategy for your website, through use of colours, fonts, and visual elements that are cohesive with your brand, I will turn your vision into reality! We can then work together and decide on how things should look through refinements before developing the site.

DEVELOPMENT
Once you approve the final design and your website is looking as perfect as can be, we can then start to actually build it! I use Wix to do this.

LAUNCH
After a final run though and testing all buttons and links, we're ready to publish your site and go live! Once your site is launched this is when I transfer ownership of the site to you!

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO GET A NEW WEBSITE?
The estimated timeline for a website is between 4 to 16 weeks. This depends on the deliverables involved and the individual client. For example if there are delays in feedback, approval, providing content or if additional revisions are required then the process tends to be a bit slower. However if you are able to provide input and content rather quickly, this really speeds things up and we're able to launch your site sooner.
WHICH PLATFORM DO YOU USE TO BUILD WEBSITES?
I use Wix to build all my websites.
WHY DO YOU USE WIX?
Wix is my pick of the lot for several reasons. It offers more features and functionality than other builders, it allows you to manage and update your site without needing a developer, it's an easy and user friendly platform that my clients are able to learn quickly and there are lots of built in marketing tools included in your plan for you explore.
DO YOU DO COPYWRIGHTING?
I can help you with taglines or other short messaging, but when it comes to lengthy copy for your website that's not a service I provide.
WILL I BE ABLE TO UPDATE MY WEBSITE AFTER THE PROJECT IS FINISHED?
Absolutely! Once the project is complete the ownership of the site will be transferred to you. From there you'll be able to manage and update your site whenever you'd like, and it's recommended that you do so! Keeping the content on your site up to date is a great way of growing and improving your site's SEO.
DO I PROVIDE THE CONTENT FOR MY WEBSITE?
Yes, you're the expert of your business so I do ask that you provide the content for your website.
WHAT IF I NEED HELP AFTER MY WEBSITE IS LIVE?
Once the project is complete the ownership of the site is then transferred to you, however I will still have access to your site as an 'editor'. This means I will still be able to hop on and provide assistance at any time, I'm simply a phone call or email away whenever you need me!
I NEED A WEBSITE ASAP, DO YOU TAKE ON RUSH PROJECTS?
My web design process involves a lot of strategic thinking, one on one collaboration with you, professional execution and creating a seamless experience for all my clients. It's so important that you're not only 100% happy with the outcome, but that the final design works. A website is the digital front of your business, thus it's important that we get it right. This does take time to achieve. Compromising the value and success of the project isn't something I am willing to do, so for this reason I don't take on rush projects for a web design, unfortunately we're not a good fit.
I'M REALLY PICKY WHAT IF I REQUIRE MORE REVISIONS?
Being picky is good and you should be! Your website is the digital front of your business, it's often one of the the first things people interact with it. It's a big deal. So by all means don't ever be afraid to be picky about this. A set amount of revisions are included in your web design package, there have rarely been cases where more is required, but some clients can be more indecisive than others. Should you want to add to this, additional revisions are available at an added cost.
DO YOU WORK WITH CODING, HTML, JAVASCRIPT AND CSS?
Web development and coding is a specialty in itself. My focus is on visual marketing and using graphics, colours, imagery, typography and layouts to create an experience for those who interact with them. If what you're after is a beautiful, professionally designed website that reflects your brand and engages your audience, then I can certainly help you with this! However if what you're after is a website focused on specific capabilities and requires heavy functionalities, then a web developer would be a better fit for you.
